The next few weeks I am doing an exhibition with my bicycle journey in art galery KijKESAAN in Alblasserdam, the Netherlands. Alblasserdam is the village where I was born 28 years ago and since then it’s my home. When I heard about the creation of an art gallery during my journey, I wanted only one thing, to exhibit some photos of my journey in there.
My question was received in a really nice way by Denise and Steve, the initiators of this gallery. Denise and Steve are both photographers and offer people in Alblasserdam a space to exhibit art in the broadest sense of the word. A modest offer in order to exhibit some of my photos was warmly received with the idea to also put down my bike and tent.
Sure, why not?
And Ringo the Rhino, my little supporting adventure mascotte is there too. Right now he is free from adventure and enjoying his earnings from all over the world.
Up in a room you’ll find some photos of my journey and you can relax in a chair to see all seven episodes from cycling in about 25 countries.
If you are interested to attend the exhibition you can in the upcoming weeks on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm, Friday from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday from 1pm to 5pm.
KijKESAAN is located at the Plantageweg 35 in Alblasserdam in the Netherlands.
